Each athlete will get a yearly training plan to set them up for their individual goals and needs designed by their coach.
This program trains 2+ days/week on snow (Sat/Sun) and we recommend one day of trampoline and Friday afternoons on snow. For our TT/CC Performance Team (ALL-IN-2Day) we added an additional WED PM on-snow option which is recommended and can be added to your program of choice.
Athletes will have a choice to specialize in Moguls, Park and Pipe or Big Mountain as their primary focus with cross training in all disciplines. Focus of skill-based development of athletes to compete at the Timber Tour level and beyond. For IFSA(Big Mtn) will will target 4 different Regional 2 stops. Dates will be confirm fall of 2025.
Groups sizes will be 6-8 athletes per coach. The One-Day program has more flexibility with roughly half the number of days training, but athletes are expected to compete in at least one Timber Tour event.
It is highly recommended that athletes compete in at least 2 of the 3 stops of the BC Freestyle Provincial Timber Tour Series or Canada Cup. Events run all over BC with this year's locations and dates for 2025-2026 still TBC. IFSA events primary run within the Elk Valley.
Eligible athletes will also have an option to compete in the BC Winter Games(Rossland), Canada Cup Events, Junior Nationals. Note will do have some competition assistant to help for athletes who succeed and qualify for events to help keep the costs down.
All expenses outside of program coaching days you selected for away events are added costs at $50/day and coaches travel costs are split between all the athletes attending.
*All athletes require a Freestyle Canada/FBC membership in addition to program registration at a Provincial Level license. IFSA membership is require for any IFSA (Big Mtn) events that FFC targets. Note all athletes need a Provincial license to do the IFSA events.

Focus: This program is designed for younger athletes that want more focused training than our Freestylerz program offers, with more competition-driven focus giving them the tools they need to develop to compete on the Timber Tour/IFSA National circuits down the road. This program instills training skills and routines to develop athletes to move into the 2- or 1-Day full SR Performance team and a full schedule of events when they are ready.
Each athlete will develop a YTP with their coach. Athletes at this level will still train all areas of freestyle which include Moguls, Park and Pipe, Big Mountain. Athletes must be capable of skiing the mountain on their own and want to compete.
Events will be determined by athlete ability levels and primary focus, but will have a mixture of Shred Series, Regional, IFSA Jr, Regional Events within the Elk Valley. Athletes should look to attend 1-2 events over the season. Events will be held around BC but primary in the Elk Valley for this level. Expenses for coaches at away events will be divided up by the number of athletes that are attending. Extra coaching days outside of the program you choose will be charged out at $50/day.
To get a jump on thinks look at our Off Season training options for some extra camps to develop athletes air awarness and foundational skills before we hit the snow.
*All athletes require a Freestyle Canada/FBC membership in addition to program registration. Athletes competing in the Shred Series level would need a CLUB level membership. IFSA membership is require for any IFSA(BigMtn).
